Firstly it's mainly excessive violence that gets banned in australia, drugs too. Sex, nudity and profanity are everywhere on TV here. Lived in the US for 6 years AND wow are you guys treated like children with your censorship. I would personally like children to think the natural act of sex is natural not shooting people in the face.

Specifically sexual violence is censored (South Park anal probing for example) rather than just violence in general and drug use if it's linked to a reward such as morphine increasing health.

Still, Americans make fun of Australia for censorship, we censor things that should be censored based on the audience. America just slaps a black square on life.
