This is a great clan of Aussie dads who enjoy playing in our 'spare time'....We are part of the Global Dads of Destiny Group who we base our membership and playing principles on. We currently have 3 clans; DoD GoA; DoD GoA II; and DoD GoA Redjacks. We LFG through this website: www.the100.io/groups/985 And we socialise and communicate through the App - Discord: Once you have opened an account send a private message to one of the moderators / administrators and we will add you as a member. If you've come to play....you've come to the right place. Welcome Guardians...

The Other Side - Xbox

Hi guys I am one of the admins from the X1 clan and manager of the Twitch channel for DoD, I don't play on PS but are here after talking with Ronin about some joint community stuff. You also may no me as the guy that streams on the DoD twitch at 8pm every Tuesday and Friday nights for Reset and Xur. twitch.tv/dadsofdestiny Some things I want to ask are... Any guys going to Pax in Melbourne? (It's always good to meet more DoD brothers even if they aren't the same console) Any guys here like to stream or do stream? (What's your setup, I'd like to maybe get you involved) Do any of you game regularly with ANZ guys outside of your clan and how do you keep in touch? (We use Line App and my handle is "desphantom" if you want to add me) Thanks guys, we are a small community of gamers in ANZ and at times can be a little disconnected from the rest of the world because of timezones. Get in touch and we can maybe do some community stuff together just because we are different consoles doesn't mean we are not all dads and gamers!

  • Hi Desert, Sydney Local, sorry no PAX for me. I regularly play with guys from the UK and US, due to my regular play time being from 5am-7am (or Wednesday and Weekends after 8pm). I met my Raid team on the100.io and chat with them using that sites chat functionality. The guys I usualy run nightfalls / weeklies i met through a Clan i signed up to when I first bought destiny - it was the first PS3 clan I found which was "noob" friendly. I chat with those guys through Bungie.net clan wall (Destiny was my first FPS since Perfect Dark on N64, hence the noob requirement). As DoD AU was more a PS4 clan, I've only just become active due buying a PS4 about a month ago, but still Raid/Strike regularly with my PS3 friends.

  • Hi Desert and well done on your Twitch feed. I am a Melbourne Local and have purchased my PAX ticket for the three day. I play only on PS4 but am interested in meeting other players cross platform at the con. I play with some local kiwis who have migrated but have yet to meet any residents.

  • Hi Desert, I watch Streamers but don't stream- havent caught your stream as I am generally playing resets and xur at those times lol Most of the ANZ gamers outside of clan are guys I have raided with in the past and only use PSN and destiny companion for communicating. Have used LINE for other MMo style games.

  • I might go to Pax, if I can come up with some work reason why I need to be in Melbourne at suspisciously the same time. I never stream as it would be boring as all hell to watch. I am both not very good at video games and not overly clever when pressed for content. I do still play with guys from the US quite a bit, either from the DoD Outlaws that I used to be in or a few guys at work. We try to have an organized run at something every few weeks where they all stay up late and I fire up the PS4 at work towards the end of the day. We use a Facebook group to coordinate.

  • Hi Desert Phantom, In answer to your questions 1. Afraid not, but would have liked to. 2. Never tried it. 3. Yes, met up with 'friends of friends' in Raids etc and added them to my friends list. (Never used Line App, will look it up) Played Crota NM with some guys from Canada and USA last night, but that's uncommon as you say because of the time differences. Cheers
