Crota's end, walkthrough and chests

[url=http://example.com]http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/2or4af/spoiler_crotas_guide_development/[/url] In addition. in phase 1 you do NOT have to stay on the plate for the bridge to form. have one person go ahead to trigger it then stand on rock by lamp. in phase 2 you do not need to be on the plates on either side of middle, you can trigger bridge until annihilator totem starts and then just step off to cancel the totem effect and get back on to continue the bridge and you do not need it fully formed, just enough so u can run up it with the sword, jump and sword slash across the remainder. GLITCHES/EXPLOITS phase 1 -once you get to the sync plate, trigger it and then go jump on the rock by the lamp that you can get on top of and again avoiding the lamp trigger. while on the rock NO ENEMIES will spawn except for ONE ogre thats you have to kill and a couple thrall that avoid you. and walaa the bridge forms and you can run across. once u get off the rock everything else starts spawningbut as long as you run you are safe. phase 2 -have everyone die. have a warlock with self rez. the restart timer is 6 seconds. ON 1 right before it goes to 0, activate self revive. you will see a black screen and then everything will be as it was but now the game thinks you have gotten everybody across the bridge. hop on top of pillars(i recommend platforms to left) and snipe all the enemies on other side until the 2 ogres appear. kill the ogres and you get your loot for the fight and the bridge safely forms and you can continue on your way. *see bottom of glitches for bridge encounter -You can also go to the far right with the last person alive, do some tricky jumping to get up on hill right next to building and jump as high as you can which will get the same effect as a self revive. -You can also have everyone go into the middle room and stand on top in the back. this is the easiest. *whichever of the three u do, you now HAVE to have just one person on the otherside BEFORE u start killing everything on that side. so after u glitch it, form bridge and kill swordbearer and have one guy go across. i just hide next to sync plate on right side and crouch behind a wall of the pillar to right of sync plate and all u have to kill is a couple thrall who occasionally see you. Crota -If you kill the swordbearer before he is out of the door he spawns in, he will drop the sword and a 2nd swordbearer will immedietely spawn thus giving your team 2 swords at once. not easy to pull off. -If multiple people grab the chalice from someone at the EXACT same time it will duplicate the chalice, can do as much as desired just takes practice and coordination. not easy to pull off either. Note: using the bumper i have hit him a max of 7 times in ONE kneel. and if done to perfection with timing u can legit kill him in two swords kneeling him twice per sword. i highly recommend the designated sword guy has agility at at least 1/4 to 1-2 of the agility bar. the extra agility helps alot with jumping and running around the arena to get in close fast for more hits and still get away when he turns orange. when he turns orange jump and bumper slash off the platform he is on so he doesnt hit you. also this is the link of the hunter who SOLOED the entire raid. learn some good tips from it and mechanics. remember things some things have changed since then still good to watch. [url=http://example.com]http://www.polygon.com/2014/12/18/7417553/destiny-crota-alone[/url] current chest locations remember chests do despawn but take a very long time, so u can find a chest and leave someone as a placeholder while you swap out characters to loot the chest. 1. go towards the first lamp and take a left at the intersection BEFORE the lamp. there is a door at the end to the left and it can have the first chest. you should see an orange light if it is in that door. if not then just wipe and keep trying till its there. that intersection is the border for how far thrall can go. you can do this solo without ever firing a shot or getting hit. this chest now only contains radiants. 2. After the 2nd bridge u have to get past 2 forcefields by killing two shriekers. after the 2nd forcefield there is a door. this door is TIMED. as soon as you spawn in/start a hunter needs to go invisible and just run for the chest while the rest of team kills the shriekers immedietely. if you delay or are too slow on killing them/getting there with hunter, the door will shut and you will be at the next checkpoint. the chest is behind the door, open chest and the door opens for the rest of your party. i recommend as soon as you finish the 2nd bridge, someone needs to go to orbit so that you have a checkpoint to go to if u miss the chest. remember if u miss the timing of chest you are at the next checkpoint automatically if u step into the room with the hole. edits 12-10-14, edited chest locations for better accuracy and access 12-19-14, fixed 2nd chest location and method. added link to solo run video. added mechanics info after first link. added known glitches. 01-05-15, added more glitches and exploits, added hypens to distinguish individual items for easier reading and finding. corrected that chest do in fact despawn. 01-19-15, updated guide with glitches that still work and other pertinent info on the raid since the changes have been made.
