That's true, I don't know, the strange coins are useless primarily due to the fact that xur has a semi limited loot table, and most of the exotics I am missing, I've intentionally passed up or not cared about. I definitely see your point, but it is such a weak system in realization. because his loot table is randomized each week he has had such garbage in it. I mean we have seen how many pieces of armor repeated over and over and over again. We have never once seen heart of the praxic fire EVER. We have never seen Universal Remote on his table , we have seen ghorn once, mida once. suros 2 times (both weekends that was available my net was down so it's more just general frustration versus actually anyone's fault) obviously with the exclusivity range being so damn retarded (1 year is really really annoying seeing as I want the bonus strikes added into the nightfall and weekly rotations and I have friends on both consoles whom I want to see those levels, I just play on ps4). I also want to be clear this isn't complaining. I've gotten some astounding drops, and some garbage ones, I've gotten 2 hardlights, 3 dragons breaths, 2 plan c, 2 thorns, 2 icebreakers, 2 bad jujus. It's not really a matter of I need only this gun to make the game more revitalized....I guess I'd like to see minor alterations to xur's loot tables, I'd love to see a re-introduction of buying synthesis from him in bulk with coins. I'd like to see possibly rather than a single armor piece per class, an engram per class (they would have to create new items to put there) just to give the rolls a little bit better odds or opportunity for success. I wasn't stating that hawkmoon is my end all be all gun in the game (in alot of ways ghorn is just cause it's my go to when I decide I'm done dealing with a boss) it's that my friend and I have discussed how certain weapons feel in game and how they operate, and the pinnacle of my play style and speed etc is hawkmoon is the absolute most perfect complementary gun for us and everything. when people speak of replayability and things that make them want to come back in. I come back primarily for 2 reasons my friends, and the way the game feels to play. just running and shooting at other people or at aliens is just fun. I kind of feel like that is the consensus from others I've spoken with on similar topics, and for everybody they want something (exotic, or this one thing what ever it may be). Hell I'd be more satisfied if they freakin added weapon engrams to xur's loot table to rotate with his armor ones, or in addition to. Just for the sake of a quick slot machine random spin of the wheel for something I actually want. I bought No Land Beyond two weeks ago (I already knew how bad it was) primarily cause I want all of the grimoires now, and I just don't care enough about saving them. I guess the primary point of this thread is apart from community generated things, and events, and current in game functions, what can be added, altered, or removed that will continue to add layers of fun?

I'd be perfectly happy with the current setup if xur was NOT RNG. If he had things more in tune with what players want and less shitty repeats it'd be much ebtter. If when players complained about never seeing a certain gun or item, it would show up next week. They could, and even probably should, up the cost a little bit on every item, since things would often be more useful.. Heavy ammo needs to be here at least every other week, perhaps engrams on the other weeks and just rotate the body part. Randomly, when they feel like it, for a very expensive number of coins they could even do a weapon engram. That'd be like 30+ coins though so even people with lots of coins couldn't go crazy adn get 20 engrams lol
