It's not. This is exactly what a potential battle against 2 very good teams would like like. Nova bombs and golden guns popping bubbles while strikers and blade dancers get in to some cqc and all the whole defender titans spawning bubbles.
Is this match 1 sided? Absolutely but because thier opponents are completely unprepared, not working together, not feeding each other orbs, they just can't hang.
So mad props to the guys that figured this out. Maybe, just maybe there will be some teamwork going on now in pvp a bit. When I see an enemy super I always super if I can use mine to shut theirs down.
If you think this is cheating or an exploit you are everything that is wrong with this community and probably suck or have no friends to do this with.
I cant wait to do this and to hopefully run into it so I can record some epic super battles.

Literally more than a dozen counters to this strat are listed below by random forumers. This is not hard to beat and takes 2 coordinated supers. Keeping it down takes more teamwork and without the lead this strat is useless. Get gud kids.

Only way to nerf this is to nerf the titan in pvp. Let's not go there.

Apparently sunsingers feel left out of this strategy. If it helps create balance and define job roles simply let the sunsinger be the orb spawner and change the titan perk to generate orbs from kills inside the bubble vs just taking damage from the bubble.

Ive got no crew in destiny for crucible so pvp rarely. When i do its a kd anywhere from .5 to 5.5 depending if i luck out in the lobby. Not hard to spot a premade just a bitch when you do. Plan on doing a ton more crucible in inferno playlists

2 RepliesThis is teamwork at it's best. My buddies and I are already looking into making use of this. I can't wait to run into another team using it. I just wanna see a striker Titan FoH into the bubble fortress. Like I saw someone say down below in comments: Hard to beat? Yes. Impossible? No.

1 ReplyHad a team try this on me last night in control. Didnt work. They didnt seem to grasp the idea that with 3 zone controls for us it didnt matter how many kills they were getting. One blade dance to even just 3 of the team pumped our score right back to first.

3 RepliesYeah, that's cool, but it's the equivalent of a baseball game between a professional team and a little league team. If you think that strategy is fun against a bunch of randoms, then YOU are everything that is wrong with this community and PvP in this game. That's the type of thing you do in a ranked PvP system (which they should set up in this game anyway). Me personally, I don't care. As soon as I realize that I'm playing against a team using that strategy, I'm going to orbit. I don't mind loosing, even getting destroyed. But I'm not going to just feed kills to someone.

3 RepliesBroken? No. Cheap? Maybe. Teamwork? Yes. Infallible Strategy? Definitely not. Someone is gonna post a video on countering this sooner or later. I can see this as being the new meta. I don't think Bungie is gonna change this for Crucible. Plus for those saying this is why Crucible can't be competitive, there's gonna be Inferno, which is the no Supers and radar Crucible playlist.

48 RepliesIt is not cheating, but it is not the intended way PvP was made. Feeding orbs is one thing, but to have an infinite orb bubble village that can move across the map and tank void bombs is not teamwork in the slightest. If there were any way to overcome this strat, maybe they could afford to leave it in, bu the only way I can think of to derail it is for a striker to somehow make it past 8-12 golden gun shots and hit a perfect fist of havoc on all of the bubbles. However after that all the defenders have to do is pick up a few scattered orbs (there's a huge surplus on the ground) and it's back to it. This is as much teamwork as having the Fireteam leader disconnect during the Crota fight, or having a sunsinger resurrect after thralls despawn. Exploitation of mechanics is not teamwork.

I think this unlimited super thing is just fine because it requires major teamwork. I don't think it's fair that they can still win when they are not holding any flags for a most of the time. It make people play control like clash.

2 RepliesOk, this is freaking awesome! With the game Bungie gave us this is the way to play as a team. The only reason this game is broke as others are saying is because Bungie made this a team death match game and not a capture the points game yet most don't realize that. I would love to see the points system re-worked and make kills worth squat and captures/defends worth everything, then watch this team play. I still think they would own most, but the strategy would have to be re-worked a little. I'm going to show this to my team for sure. Until they fix/change this we will adapt and keep fighting with what they give us. Too cool, thanks!
