As all weapons developers have difficulty with shotguns when it comes to PVP. The fact this game has such horrible PVP issues topped with the new lag switch the kiddies are using isn't helping. But anyway, I've survived battles against both with a mangled left hand as a disability and despite having to go through multiple controllers to find the one that works best and finally not care about stats after years of giving a crap there is one thing that's clear... If a person is standing there and not firing it's almost always a fushion rifle so get out of the way. Shotguns are nerfed to the point that ya gotta be close. Both can be one hit kills. Ones medium and on the cusp of medium-long range to the other being in yer face. I don't find either OP. Is a nova bomb OP? Titan slam? Golden gun? Nope. It's just part of the game. ;o) I'm hoping they put out MORE energy based weapons. You think house of wolves won't have tracking darts? Think again.

 • The only fusion rifle used actively in pvp that you can "get out of the way" of before they splatter you all over a wall is the Pocket Infinity. Everyone else uses quick charging fusion rifles that can spool up faster than an auto rifle's TTK, and they keep it semi charged if they see red on their radar anyway. So, no, there is no "get out of the way".

 • Dude.... if you make an over blanketing statement like that what do you do when I post a 30 second montage of fushion rifle shots missing targets. ;o) No disrespect. I'm no PVP god by any means. But you can't say players don't dodge fushion rifle shots, and seriously think there's only one that can be dodged. So you may wanna consider RE-thinking that over blanketing statement with "blink", especially when an AI Minotaur, Fallen Captain etc can dodge them do you really think that no players can dodge fushion rifle shots? Are u sure? Like I said, no disrespect, you really need to think about that statement. Plz let me know you are not less than 20 years old. I'd appreciate it. ;o)

 • I'd have to ask how many of those were actually dodging and how many were people that just can't aim.

 • So you also in hindsight have to ask "how many of those could aim". Even without blink and with proper timing, it is possible based on a players reflexes, anticipation (especially when you recognize facing a player who is using mostly a fushion rifle), and not all fushion rifle beams hitting the intended target, players can dodge fushion rifle one hit killshots same as being able to dodge close range shotgun blasts that when a target is in motion only some shells hit as opposed to none. Albeit considering full on target hits at too long a range can really not be as effective with shotguns, and no drop off at range with energy rounds from fushion rifles but travel time of those rounds are relevant... we both know they can be dodged. It's just more difficult based on how close, the weapon type, and the reflexes of the target. Like all games... The variables determine the outcome my friend. But yes, you have dodged both, as have I, even if we weren't aware of it, it's happened. ;o)
