Can't you see what's happening Bungie? (BUMP THIS)
All of these "The update we will never get" posts aren't complaints. They aren't people whining. They aren't people quitting. They aren't people who are upset ([i]Just disappointed[/i]). [b] They are criticism posts that are actually constructive! They are the real community! The people who want to change this game for the better! We want to enjoy your game, just like we enjoyed Halo 1 all the way up to reach! (343 is a terrible Halo developer).
So please Bungie, look at all the people who want to play this game with even more joy, who want to make this game even better so that they can finally tell their friends "Yes, Destiny is an awesome game!", Rather than beat down on you, we are trying to help.
We all know these additions to the game seem unrealistic, but we aren't expecting them out instantly. To me, even any sort of acknowledgment is appreciated.[/b]
EDIT: Please try to help me spread this post! I want as many people to see this as possible!
EDIT 2: Although I do agree that spamming it was not necessary, I still believe that Bungie needs to notice this.

12 RepliesExcept it isn't constructive criticism, it's not about making the game better, it's about hubris and want. People want things, some big and some small, and while some of those things might actually make the game better, others won't or will change what the game is. Trouble is that the "fans" believe they have a right to tell bungie how to make the game, and that they know how to make a better game, without any of the issues involved in design or business. Either you trust that bungie knows what they are doing and continue to provide feedback ("virtual rioting" isn't constructive to begin with), or you don't trust them (or activision) in which case you need to consider walking away, because if you don't trust that they're competent enough to make the game you want why would yelling louder change that? Too often you see companies try to pander to the vocal "fans" and end up with a game that doesn't work. Stop thinking about wants and start thinking about needs.

These posts were/are spam and I will continue to report them when I see them. The OP wasn't some ground breaking idea. It was simply a collective of ideas the community has asked for and may or may not receive later. Continuing to post the same thing over and over is not only childish but it's devaluing the OP by making it spam.

These guys really are babies. They patch cheese They destroy feedback. They hate the players of their game. Well Bungie I can stop supporting you if you want. I can play other games. 343 isn't a terrible halo developer. They've breathed new life into halo that Bungie lacked and still is lacking. Just look at the Destiny "campaign"

Protip: People are less likely to spam your forums with blanket statements filled with misinformation if you actually engage in real communication and provide examples of supposed progress with future updates/functionality rather than (what alot of us feel is) lip service.
