• To paraphrase "Stop getting up in arms cuz I don't think it'll ever work" seems against the idea of a community

 • he's not saying that though....what he's saying is that spamming the boards with worthless shit isn't going to change anything....it's just gonna piss people off, and get people banned, or at the very least, moderated.. there's no point.....if you really want change, you start a quality thread, with constructive conversation, and as it becomes more popular, Bungie takes notice..... but no...as we've seen time and again, people would rather latch onto some f**king meme, and parrot it like the mindless f**king drones they are, instead of being civil and constructive....because, who wants to be bothered with acting like a mature adult?

 • It doesn't actually seem that's what he's saying, so much as what you're saying, based on what he said. But saying that is actually wrong either way, as there has been hundreds of threads on each of these. I've seen a quality mature thread trend pertaining to every one of these issues, yet only one has been even addressed? It shows the forum is a failure for anything other than discussion. This mass posting that's gone on today has to be recognized by Deej. If not it will thoroughly prove the failures of b.net as a form of communication between the community and Bungie.

 • i will admit....the first bit was what he was saying, but then i went off into my own thoughts... DeeJ will probably recognize it...but it's not gonna change anything...there are rules against spamming, and that's what was done. there will most likely be punishments handed out for the violations. more than just vault space has been addressed...there was another thread listing them all..

 • I've read every update, nothing there has been addressed besides vault space and slightly Queens wrath. (Basically "we're reworking" and a long time ago anyhow.) Regardless, its not about the specific things in that post. Its that if this forum is for communication, ideas that gain lots of support deserve recognition when they're even remotely reasonable. Even if 98% of the time its a big fat f*ck no. Anything is better than ignorance of everything the community wants. My point is, this entire situation is the loot cave of the forums. The symptom is not the problem, the cause is the problem. Why does the community have to resort to breaking the forum to get things a response?

 • they don't....all they need to do is upvote the living shit out of the original post.. there was a single thread devoted to that post...if it was so terribly popular, upvote the shit out of that too... spamming the boards isn't the answer....

 • That happens all the time. Specifically when the post is a comment rather than its own thread. Very few things (without raking the time to review updates and count I'd estimate 3~) have ever been recognized besides nerfit whines and glitches which were absolute deal breakers (some of which are left anyhow)

 • and i'm sure they're watching, and i'm sure there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes, that we don't know about, and that DeeJ doesn't know about.....everyone around here seems to think that the entirety of the employee pool at bungie comes in in the morning, pours themselves a cup of coffee, goes to their cubical, and proceeds to spend the next 8 hours sitting at their desk, with their thumbs up their asses.... it's frightening how ignorant people can be, especially when they don't get their way..

 • You're making assumptions of what my oen assumptions are? Thats just bad form. If people spending 1-2 hours on here see all these issues & ideas, somebody at bungie must as well. All I'm saying is a response is necessary. If they don't have the time, their profit margin is beyond high enough to merit hiring somebody who's entire job description is go on the forums and say no to shit. Seeing as how that is apparently not the community manager's job.

 • hey man, i'm sorry if you thought i was making assumptions about you.... i was speaking in general terms, not about you, specifically. i'm not entirely sure WHAT you think....i was referring to what i see on the boards on a daily basis..
