just because the DOT as you call is there doesn't mean your bullet will nail the dot.
There's always a little bit of skew on accuracy from gun to gun.
Range is also a factor....further the range...the more likely you will not hit your target...etc...

I understand what you are saying but every other gun in the game shoots the bullet at exactly where to reticle is. The vex doesn't and it has led to very confusing/frustrating moments.

Not really no. Otherwise why would most guns have an accuracy perk?
