Ive been scrolling through the forums for all of 5 minutes, and i think I've seen at least 10 posts about "the update we will never get".
Stop. This isn't some sort of chain mail text message about whether or not you'll fall in love in 10 years,
Its a -blam!-ing videogame.
Please stop infesting these forums with that bullshit. It's not gonna work. At all.
EVER
To anyone whose posted it, just know that you don't belong here and i highly dislike you.
Save yourself some time and get the hell outta here.
Comment on here if you've seen enough of these posts. Bungie needs to do something about these kids who think a post that is false anyways is gonna change something.
Edit: Thanks for all the negative comments! Keep then coming cause we trending in dis bitch
Edit 2: Thank you to everyone who has had nice things to say and agree with me! I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees these crybabies for what they are! Lol
Edit 3: 600 comments! Wow! Thank you guys!
HAMMER TIME
There is a reason they created the mute button. Pretty sure any Bungie Moderators on here have already used it on all the zombie post(s)/poster(s) ;) No matter how many of the ideas might be good or even constructive criticism, they've lost their value due to the spammers. (Though to be fair, since you figured Bungie was already not listening to you, you figured you couldn't make them listen any less...)
-
They could just not even give us updates
-
I agree that spamming it over and over again is dumb, but at the same time many issues brought up are fairly valid and should be done by bungie. My favorite ones are things like grimoir in the game, and being able to trade ascendant mats in for radiant ones. If you are fine with the game as it is, then good for you. Many people know it could be better if they just put a little time into it. And considering how popular many of the things "not all" they bring up are, it seems most of the community is for many of the changes they propose. If someone did not like something, they would not strive for it to be better. Only someone who doesn't like something would not want it to be better.

Hammer time ( first thing that came to mind when i read the title )

Edited by TOASTgangBert: 1/26/2015 11:56:32 AMbump. People are upset at the truth. Yea the gaming industry is diving head first into a pool of HIV infested needles and are killing themselves slowly, but honestly, big gaming companies like Bungie and Activision DO NOT care about the consumers, it's all about the money, its the little, indie gaming companies that give hope to the gaming industry and listen to its consumers. So just stop with these pointless threads in an attempt to do the impossible and get Bungie to listen. If it hurts to hear the truth then stop playing the -blam!-ing game and play something else or get over yourself and accept that this is how things are.

Posts a thread complaining about posts that complain. Says posts that complain wont change anything, but thinks his complaining will..

Smoke weed everyday

All the posts in this forum seem to be made by five year old kids. The only thing I see here is whining and "master race"
it's a game, enjoy it
-
I agree. I clicked on trending and about ten posts in a row were "the update we will never get". It's stupid.
-
The update we'll never get. Let it live on lol
-
boobs
-
The fact that people are posting it in response to OP is indicative that they do not actually care for the update.
-
Stop? Lol you sound like a little girl get off the forums if you can't handle the topics
-
Then get off the forums if you don't support our protest for a good update
-
I'm surprised it took us this long to start protesting. I'm not going to post that thing, but you can hardly say it's unwarranted with the extremely negligent behaviour of Bungie as a whole.
-
Oh I'll bump the crap out of this. Bump, bumpity bumppppp. Haha
-
-
Yes! I've had enough of the whining!!!
-
Destiny had a lot of short comings, and I understand why people are doing this. And hey, if enough of the community rises up, bungie has a chance to change some things. I can't believe that you are 100% satisfied with destiny. I love the game and all but there are some things that make it hard to come back to everyday that bungie could fix if they just listened to their community. Hopefully they'll listen and improve the game, and I can't see why you're angry at people for trying to improve a game that you play. Just think, wouldn't you want a story? Or more variety in missions and interesting cutscenes?
-
Some pussies don't get it...it'll still be a game. No way around it.
-
-
It really is annoying to see all those posts. Its one thing to try to get change its another thing to try to do it in an uncoordinated assholey annoying way
-
Seriously though Why all the hate for people who want nothing other than improving something they like Both sides are going way to far anyway Inb4; blow those words out the back of your head Kbye
-
And now 20ish of them are trending…
-
I agree. It sounds great, but spamming the heck out of it isn't doing anything except annoy people.

This is a quote from "The Ben obiwan", who posted this on a Bungie update 2015/01/22. So far it has 2600+ comments and bumps. At 2500 Bungie hid the post. To show support, and to show that we do want change, I move that everyone starts posting this to the forums, for as long as it takes them to listen. Fill the forums with nothing but these posts!! Force them to hear our voices, and to listen! Change starts with us! Keep this trending people! And make replicated posts! Spread the word of "The Ben obiwan!" Edit1: the original post is no longer hidden on the update page “The update we'll never get- "We listened to the masses, and are making some changes to the game. 5 million people bought the dlc, so we have plenty of funds to make this game fun again! We are doubling vault space, hell, lets triple it, what do we care? You can now trade your useless ascendant mats for other things, 10 to 1 for radiant mats, 1 to 1 for marks. Survival mode added. Its really fun, and you get more loot the longer you stay alive. Grimoire is accessible in game, so people actually read it. As you complete sections of the grimoire, cut scenes are unlocked, revealing story points, it was always there, we just forgot to put it in. You can now change your characters appearance once a week for 10,000 glimmer. We made some really fun bounties for you to try, because we are sick of the same crap since launch as well. You can now add modifiers to any mission, and complete it for rewards suitable to difficulty. Of course we don't want every single core player looking identical, the outfitter can help. You just need the armor that has the appearance you want and the armor that has the stats you want. Take it to the outfitter with a chunk of some materials or something and BLAM you have sweet, unique armor, it's so -blam!-ing simple, I can't believe we didn't have this in since release. Crota's End sparrow can do tricks. We agree, all those low impact auto rifles and pulse rifles are like shit on a dick. Nobody wants it, so we added some decent/balanced ones. We fixed all them annoying bugs, like the sword disappearing, heavy ammo synth not working, and the Templar random containment fields. Queens Wrath is coming this week. Turns out there is not a problem with YOUR network, it was OUR problem all along. lol. Oh, and 5 more strikes are available, just because we are rolling in cash, and we want to thank you, the customer, for being such a sport, and believing in us." But instead Bungie just carry on, completely oblivious to core problems in the game. Why do I look forward to reading this every week? This could get 1000 bumps, it won't make any difference. I don't think they even read the comments. Edit: Lol, ignore it until it goes away. Perfect PR. Oops, should I of pulled that punch? Edit 2: Thanks guys. Obligatory new bump goal: The moon This post is unrealistic, that's the point, but what is unrealistic is not these ideas being implemented, but Bungie actually addressing issues the community reiterates week after week. Some acknowledgement is all we want, but instead we get ignorance. I love Destiny, but I've done everything, I just want to continue enjoying the game.” -the Ben obiwan
