This game has kept popularity for many months now. How many games do you know you've put this many hours into? I can only think of 2 or 3. It's not one of the best games of all time but it's a great game and I wish that people who have just gotten tired of the game after so many hours would stop making posts like this.

I have played borderlands 2 and already have 90 hours. 90 hours full of FUN hours. Now i have almost 100 hours in destiny, wich 20 hours are actually fun. This is why i hate destiny because most of the time there is no fun :T
-
That's you, I personally thought borderlands 2 sucked even though I loved the first one. I enjoyed 150-200 hours thoroughly. Not everyone is going to love it but it's the first console game of its kind there's no other game I can think of that has 6 man or more raids. If there are please enlighten me I would like to try them.
-
But the raids are bugged to hell... And CE is no good at all
-
Edited by WretchedAdolfo: 1/26/2015 1:24:25 AMCE is not as good as VoG but it's still a fun raid. The bugs are bad and need to be fixed but that doesn't stop me from completing them each week. I'm referring to the game overall and my first 150 hours I had only started raiding after about 50-70 and VoG was awesome when I finally started raiding
-
VoG was a fun experience but at the time that was the only fun thing to do in Destiny and now VoG is pretty much worthless. There is 0 endgame content except a raid you can do ONCE A WEEK. How pathetic. I would quote the announcer for Crucible but Crucible is terrible.
-
There are countless problems with the game, but there are no games right now that are bug-free. The games I'm playing right now are DAI, Destiny and Farcry 4 and all three of them are covered in bugs.
-
Ya but this is the year of bugs and let downs and Destiny takes number one for let downs and like top 10 for bugs.
-
it is a pretty big letdown compared to it's expectations. Can't really give any excuses for the bugs they had 4 years to test them lol
-
Lol yeah we agree on something hahaha
-
Hours played dipped greatly during November and December.... Then picked backed up in December for tdb... And have started to drop off again.... Also average hours played has never been more then 3 hours per player.... Other MMOs average quarterly much higher.....
-
Edited by WretchedAdolfo: 1/26/2015 1:45:10 AM3 hours? No sorry man no. Edit: If you're talking per day, that's not bad for a console game, Destiny is not sold as an MMO. It is a multiplayer shooter, the people who want it to be an MMO label it that, not bungie or activision.
-
It's accually around 70 hours per player but nice try
-
it's a greatgame
Yep, my fanboy detector is going off. Do you enjoy hours of endless grinding for useless rewards in a universe that you don't even understand?
-
Not a fanboy but yes I do like bungie, just like everyone else I have mostly stopped playing but still this was the first game I got for ps4 and I enjoyed it thoroughly for the first 150-200 hours
-
Yay.. Donkey Kong yay.. Donkey Kong...yay!!!!!!

Edited by Vampire Nox: 1/25/2015 7:03:05 AMSkyrim - 4000 hours Morrowind - 4000+ hours Reach - 1000+ hours Forza 5 - 1000+ hours Halo 3 - 2000+ hours Halo 2 - 2000+ hours That's six, and the list can go on for quite a while. Destiny will lose me if massive changes don't happen with House of Wolves (and we already know those changes aren't coming). Your argument; defeated.
-
Edited by WretchedAdolfo: 1/25/2015 8:48:05 PMYou are a -blam!-ing retard bud. 4000 hours = 166 days + 166 days + 1000 hours = 42 days + 42 days + 83 days + 83 days That's 582 days real time. You have not spent that much time on these games that's impossible they Skyrim has not even been out long enough for you to have put 166 days real time into it. Even granted you played Skyrim and Morrowind 16 hours a day non stop and didn't eat, it would have taken you 221 real days each to do this.
-
Skyrim has been out that long. It's been out for over three years now; that's over 1095 days (actually 1096, because 2012 was a leap year).
-
So you think someone has devoted an entire quarter of that time, meaning sixteen hours a day, not eating and sleeping less than 8 hours playing it? Not likely barely possible
-
It's entirely possible. I'm awake anywhere from 13 to 16 hours a day. That leaves anywhere from 5 to 8 free hours available.
-
Gears of war 2 and 3, Halo 2-Reach (Bungies done good) Uncharted 2, Borderlands 1 & 2, Mortal Kombat series, Forza Horizon 2.
-
Unimportant post ^ No one cares what games you played as much
-
Thats cool
-
You're right, might even be more popular than candy crush saga...

I had 4x as many hours on Fallout 3 than I do on this game. I had every armor in the game, every weapon, 10 Stat in the S.P.E.C.I.A.L slots and 100/100 in every skill in the game. I even git armor you had to reverse pickpocket children from little lamplight. Destiny for some reason isn't to bad, even when Fallout 3 had so much more stuff to do. I'm use to useless repetition to advance (Runescape is to blame) so that may be the cause. The game certainly has its flaws, but it's fun to play with friends and strangers from LFG.
