How cool would this be??? 6 people racing out of an exploding Fallen ketch similar to endings of Halo 1, 3, etc. Anyone else think this would be fun?
EDIT: Deleted video link. I believe this video is a new strike, not raid. Either way, let's discuss fun mechanics of sparrow escape possibilities!
EDIT 2: TRENDING! so glad this many people care about having fun with sparrows and making them more useful!
EDIT 3: Wow. Really hope someone from Bungie already had this idea. Since they don't really listen on forums. :-)
EDIT 4: Been reading every single one of these posts sorry I can't get back to all of you. Thanks for the support and excellent suggestions. Seems the consensus says most of you like this idea!
EDIT 5: TRENDING for a solid 24 hours guys. Let's keep this post alive hopefully Bungie will see how much we want this!

Edited by RageSide: 1/24/2015 8:42:45 PMHouse of Wolves raid IS confimed on a ship and you do not access from Earth. You get there from the Dusk Warrens on the Moon by glitching through. It takes you to a teleporter which teleports you to the Traitors Ketch. Destiny Glitch Into The House of Wolves Raid DLC: http://youtu.be/fUbqEY6qpdc

Best -blam!-ing raid ever
-
Bump bump bump
-
Haha house of volves
-
This would be awesome, unfortunately they'd have to make it so that any sparrow could escape, so the people who have the Tumbler, raid sparrows, or upgraded Sparrows would blow through it.
-
At first, it sounds like a cool idea. The warthog runs from Halo 1 and 3 were great. Then I think of Halo 4, and as much as I'd like to think otherwise, the sparrows in this game are very much like the covenant ghosts. Halo 4 had an escape sequence in the 2nd or 3rd level where you ride a ghost, and in comparison to the first games, the sequence was stupid (the whole game was like that too though, so what else do you expect, but still). I know 343 and Bungie aren't the same, but the old Bungie is gone. *shrugs* I doubt it could be done well.
-
Before the dark below it was rumoured to be in CE, I was so dissapointed it wasn't :(
-
Those sequences were fun, but you were also alone. You want to be racing 5 other people trying to push you off the track or falling behind because they still have that starter Sparrow?
-
We kill the queen/brother...awoken get pissed and institute a no beam out clause Institute Sparrow chase to a space port that hyper speeds the sparrow into space. Queue melancholy dinklebot. That was fast...you beam aboard. End scene Just enough bad story to fit perfectly in Destiny
-
You can glitch your way into the (believed) house of wolves raid area. It's just more of earth and a large fallen vandal at the end. Oh yay......
-
Honestly, I'd rather not. Those weren't fun sections to me. And since they already did it a couple times, I would rather see something different. Now, I would like to see some other uses for the sparrows and our ships. Currently they are just transportation, which is boring.
-
I hated those parts in halo. HELL NO!
-
Agreed. They are not using vehicles at all in this game. I miss the banshee and warthog :(

Edited by JHarv: 1/24/2015 7:42:02 PMthe next raid is already on our discs and will absolutely be no different than the current pattern of what we've seen over and over and over. face it. bungie isn't working. they aren't doing a goddamn thing to improve our experience. they have designed this game how they want to, and we have to play it their way, take it or leave it. end of story. pretty pathetic, really. i mean, deej wont even come out and have a discussion with us. every time you see that clown he's preaching some sort of "oh dont worry we'll deliver in the future, thank you thank you for playing. have fun we love you guardians" BS patronizing message. face it. they don't care about us and they don't care about this game. they're making bank off us playing the loot lottery, and until we all give it up and stop paying them, they will not change a thing.
-
Phuk no....
-
Just like every CoD
-
Definitely
-
Awesome idea for the end of the next raid! Just it would have to be a challenging course (jumps, holes, etc)
-
I don't suppose they would mind if we borrowed their pikes? *a little while later* "Hey! Who stole my pike!"
