Crota's auto enrage question.
We are doing Crota with 3 swords. first 2 swords deal a lot of damage, then we kill the ogres.
Final sword comes, sword carrier goes up, we drop crota and the SC hits till enraged. SC drops sword and blinks. We make crota kneel for the final and the SC hits him. He takes all of crota's life but he regains a shield while the SC proceeds to hit him another two times and we're dead.
It has happened countless times, he hits him once as crota goes down, then hits him aagain and the life bar is empty but his shield pops up instantly. Is anyone else having these problems ?
We also tried 4 sword runs and 2 ogres but were met with the same results.

Does anyone know if oversoul bonus damage from CE raid helmet applies to the swordbearer?

Edited by Woodrowbt: 1/24/2015 5:31:08 AMThis is how my group did it: 1st sword: Down him Slam 3x Down him Slam 3x Down him Slam 3x Go to middle and wait for him to go back to center. 2nd sword Same as 1st sword. No ogres. Stay in center so no boomers or witch. Easy mode.

Ended up doing it in 3 swords, used super on first set of the third sword. Thanx for all your help.

My strategy is for SC is 3 swords. I even did the math. Spread the word. 1. 3 slams, 3 slams 2. 3 slams, 3 slams 3. 1 swipe + 2 slams, all slams till dead. I just beat him twice, trust me on this.

If someone dies, Crota gains momentary immunity. Over soul or not.

2 RepliesWhen he's enraged hit him one more time before he/you drop the sword and turn invisible, then take Crota down and fish him off.

1 ReplyYou can kill crota with swords if your team downs him twice for each sword. If you dont get him killed in two swords a third may be needed and crota will spawn in oversoul, during thus time provided crota is low on health your team should only be focused on crota so your SC can take him down thus killing crota and canceling out oversoul.
