My friend received a present from the Christmas thing bungie did which gave out a legendary gun and he got the present on the demo, it was some scout rifle that was 365 maxed rating...now since it's the demo nothing is capped and i'm guessing that legendary things are not obtainable in the demo besides from what just happened recently for the bungie gifts. today he bought a Xbox one and destiny and his stuff got all transferred over the gun he still has it which is still 365 rating, if he were to use this gun would it not be allowed? i just wanna check for him just so if he does use it he isn't called a ''hacker'' or gets into trouble for having this gun.
