There are many ways to regenerate health (or have a protective shield) 1. Exotic Weapons: Red Death/Suros 2. Exotic Armor: Apothesis Veil, Light Beyond Nemesis, Mask of the Third Man, Insurmountable Skullfort 3. Raid Gear: Certain Raid Gear will have an ability which specifies Replenish Health when you pick up an Orb. 4. Melee: VoidWalker: Life Steal Sunsinger: Flame Shield, Blade Dancer: Hungering Blade, Striker: Transfusion, Defender: Force Barrier 5. Super: Defender and Sunsinger (with Apothesis Veil) will replenish health upon activating super. Chalice is not needed. This is where gear actually matters and attributes of gear need to be considered better. Xur has sold all the above gear (or most?) If you have none of the above armor, he is selling a helmet engram today, there is simply no excuse.

OP: I think using Exotic Gear as an excuse is a bit silly because RNG. Although i will say Melee's and Super's are okay since all classes have an equal opportunity to them. (Side Note: the circumstances to get health back on some gear you mentioned are a little outrageous like the Light Beyond Nemesis Helmet. Which i think is "Every time you pick up an Orb you replenish a fraction of your health" not sure. There's no guarantee they'll be orbs every time you're near death.)

  • Light Beyond Nemesis, Apothesis Veil, Mask of the Third Man, Insurmountable Skullfort all trigger full health regeneration upon picking up a single orb. There are allways orbs for me, at the beginning we leave the four major knights weak and 2 people kill them with their super = 16-18 orbs (depending on armor), you save some of these for when you need health regen. Also when you are weak, just simply super for certain classes.

OP: Is it really just a single Orb? I have Skullfort and i could have sworn it was only a small fraction, oh well Thank You for correcting me on that matter.

  • OP: Yeah man i agree with you to an extent but i'm not saying they should just hand out chalice's. i've added a couple of the cons in the polls description to having the chalice in the hard raid. go check em out and see if you'd agree if they were also added
