FYI, your sword RT attack seemed to do 15,301 with or without weapons of light. Does it really matter for the sword?
Awesome video though.

Not weapons bro that was blessing to give him a shield

We tested it on the normal raid, it makes no difference between normal an weapons of light! Maybe in the hard raid? But i dont think so!
-
thats blessing of light. he uses the bubble for overshield, not for extra damage.
-
Look at the bubble placed next to Crota that the Sword bearer dips in the first time. It's weapons of light. His super does 18,000 damage and then the sword hits each do 15,300. Subsequently he never dips back into the bubble, weapons of light wears off, and his attacks do the same amount. Weapons Of Light doesn't have any effect on sword strength.

Edited by Talk2MeToner: 1/22/2015 5:49:34 PMAverage they are using the bubbles not only for the one shield but also for orbs of light so he has sword super therefore the weapons didn't matter they just needed orbs and didn't care what the second bubble had. My guess is the guy who placed it wanted extra damage on the shield when he was shooting not for the sword

Edited by AnAverageGamer: 1/22/2015 6:23:26 PMI can understand the use of bubbles for the orbs, but the OP specifically points out that he used "5 RTS with supers and Weapons of Light" and I have run across groups while attempting this raid who were adamant that sword bearers had to get weapons of light buffs before attacking Crota. I just want to disprove the myth that it matters.
-
Yeah I think he pointed that out as it was essential for his team to get Crotas shield down so fast. If not maybe he actually believes it and got lucky
-
I think what average is trying to point out is that the OP made mention of the fact that they were using weapons of light. Maybe he meant that his teammates were using weapons to drop Crota faster, but the way he put it, it seemed as though he thought weapons of light made a difference. Which it doesn't.
