How do YOU use Ward of Dawn? (PvP)
Personally, at the beginning I used Blessing of Light thinking the extra boost in defense would benefit my team for their next encounter.
After a while I started using Weapons of Light and it wasn't until playing Iron Banner where I noticed I wasn't only getting more score but my team has a better chance with fire fights.
I'm tempted to experiment with Armor of Light for the occasional enemy jumping in with a fusion rifle or a shotgun.
Thoughts?

2 RepliesI only use Ward of Dawn on accident... Usually on Blind Watch about to Superman Strike Zone C... fly through the air and pop a bubble instead of raining death... then i lick my wounds and change back to a striker...

I always use blessing of light. Since you get shields, u can spend more time jumping out and dealing damage, and for me, more time to jump out means more time to kill.

Either blessings as the maps are usually quite close quarters so people can pop out at you so the extra health allows you to survive any surprises. Or armour of light with my found verdict.

War machine is great for pve and when is see a nova bomb flying my way its nice to have something to stop it especially in control

I feel too much like a sitting duck with armor of light, so I use blessing of light. With AoL, you never get more than one or two guys to sit in there with you, but with BoL, I've been able to give my entire 6-man team a buff, and it allows them to spread out, decreasing the chances of getting nova-bombed or fisted.

6 RepliesI know this said pvp but I was thinking but about a team of 6 people running it in pve. With orbs couldn't they keep like 2 bubbles up just about 24/7.

I press both shoulder buttons at the same time. Seriously though, Helm of Saint-14 is awesome, but I find people generally only fall for it once. The best I have seen was the titan stood inside a bubble, I went in to punch him, and the bastard was sat in someone elses bubble and Fisted me... Was not expecting that the Titan soloing the bubble would not be the Titan who placed the bubble....

I put'em where the fight is. Any choke points or spots that are being heavily contested get bubbled. Armor of Light turns you into Crota himself (hold the cheese), and the Invective fits nicely into the setup. The contested spots are often Control flags, but sometimes there are rooms or areas of the map that are getting a lot of action and asking to be bubbled, so they get bubbled. I used to run Blessing because the boost was nice for enemies in another part of the map, but honestly I think Armor works best because the Titan bubble is the most tempting thing in the game. Every brave soul with a legendary shotgun wants to dive in and get himself a free kill, but the buffs that come with Armor are through the roof.

2 RepliesEdited by Hulkksmash: 1/19/2015 8:25:55 PMI pop it on choke points, control nodes, or if absolutely have to and gonna die (very rare case using it then though and usually only if on big kill streaks for bounty lol) Once its up ill play in and out of it to snipe others, stockpile with nades, or just box whoever wants to step inside and go blind. Part of the use of the bubble is working in and out of it ... or even behind it just as cover. Oh and I love jump through the top and sticking someone lol. Imo armor perk is only way to go in pvp. Going back to the bubble if you take damage or taking out people that get brave.

3 RepliesAll of the below, but also the bait n switch. 1) Bubble up. It blocks weapons in AND out. 2) Bait victim. Point/ dance / sit. 3) Victim enters bubble. 4) exit bubble, vertically. Don't forget to leave him a grenade for company. Land outside bubble, no AoE 5) Style marks for an R/L launch at his backup when airborne, and a rinse repeat with armamentarium.

Armor of light is the best. Also helm of Saint 14. Makes the bubble a danger zone! :)

Armor of light is the only way to go. People have to swarm you or use a super to uproot you. However I like running at people with heavies. So fun to see them blow themselves up when I drop the bubble in front of them.

I don't have Helm of Saint-14 currently, so I've been using No Backup Plans and Armor of Light. Lift to Control point, drop with the ward and start swinging to get my Force barrier. Pop a couple shotgun shells or Fusion blast just outside to keep them at bay until capture. Though, I'm gonna change it up to kick out more orbs next run.

Armor of Light when capturing a control point and it's "come at me bro" time. Don't even worry about using guns, just face punches for everyone. Anyone tries resisting the urge to get into it, point at them and start dancing. "What are you doing?!" "Distracting you, ya turd blossom!"

The best is when u in the bubble and enemy is right outside but to afraid to come in, so u step out and throw sticky grenade on them and lololol all the way home.

Glasshouse and Weapons of light + increased buff. I kill with everything super fast, especially in Rumble. If I get Jolder's Hammer, everything dies in two headshots.

3 RepliesAlways armor of light. People seem to think they can take you in your bubble. Your shotgun will tell them otherwise. Also I use Saint 14 so I can Batman drop on people, blind them, and clean house.

I used armor of light yesterday to complete my thorn bounty. I am terrible at pvp but I was messing people up pretty good some maps think I went 17-3 one map and for my that's impressive.

I used to only use BoL cause i thought it made the most sense, however... after switching to AoL ill never go back in pvp. I use it with Saint 14 and Comedian or Incentive. I went from being ok in pvp to finishing in the top 3 on the reg. And its SO MUCH FUN to pop ward on a contested flag and just blast everyone who runs into my bubble blind.
