Except that you have different ships on your characters. They are not shared.

But u can load the ship up with armour and weapons.. and then swap the ship.. taking up less room in your inventory and vault.. which gives you more space. And a lot easier to transfer.. instead of transferring 20 weapons across individually. . U can maybe store 10 in a ship.. ship only takes up one spot in your vault... have 3 ships that u transfer stuff over with.. beats having 30 spots for weapons and armour.. get what I'm saying?

Yes, I get what you're saying. However, the whole point of this idea was to save time. With what you just said, you would still have to go to the tower on each character and wait out the loading times and what not. It doesn't make too much of a difference.
