I love the point you want to make, but then you can say the same kind of thing about any desk jockey, that they aren't working...there is a difference between work and a job...and work isn't always 100% physical grueling work can be mental as well...
So while video games are by no means labor intensive work, they can be mentally taxing work

See I don't look at it that way. I have a desk job so I know what you are saying. I don't think work is only physical. Work is something we do to support our place in society. It is usually, not always, something we would not do if it wasn't necessary. Video games a pure entertainment. These are games we would play without necessity.
