Earning vs. Spending (Must Read)

So as we all know, Destiny is run by RNGs (blessed be thy name of RNGsus), and to get anything you must have patience... and time *bun dun chsss* But seriously, it's true. To acquire something, you must do many things. To get a lot of strange coins one must do many activities, since you can only get so many from weekly heroics. To get a lot of good guns one must also do many activities, particularly hard and challenging ones. Therefor, to get anything, you must have done a lot of some thing. Thus meaning that to accumulate strange coins, you must earn them, and to get en exotic reward, you must earn them (since destiny players seem to have defined "earning" as "depending on the RNGs"). So, whether you buy something from Xur or get it from an RNG (blessed be thy name of RNGsus), you will still have had to do a lot of things. You will still have had to depend on the RNGs. If you got a lot of strange coins, you earned them. If you got an exotic as a drop, you earned it. However, strange coins are meant to be spent, they serve no other purpose. The only point in earning strange coins is to spend them at Xur; that's the only place where you can use them. So, by means of deduction, to earn strange coins then is to earn whatever Xur sells (which is exotics). In conclusion then, this means that spending strange coins is earning exotics, and that depending on RNGs (blessed be thy name) is also earning exotics. In order to do both, one must have had to depend on an RNG at some point (Earners only once @ the drop; Spenders twice: once @ the drop for coins, once at Xur's inventory). SPENDING IS EARNING. EARNING IS ALSO EARNING. Stop fighting.
