I personally love the lore of some games especially when there is the one who seeks knowledge behind the enemy. Toland a warlock showed those characteristics in searching for a light in the darkness of the hive race. Being exhiled from his people due to his obsession with the forbidden knowledge hidden about the darkness, unexplored he decided to shine light on if the darkness stood true to his theory of the three queens. That the darkness wanted to conquer all. Toland believed he could find this in the darkness. The knowledge slowly corrupting himself to the point where he himself spoke to the darkness. Learning every secret they held he himself was afraid of emptiness that there was no end to his insanity. The tower believed his knowledge would corrupt the mind of the novice guardians showing them that you could step into the darkness and learn the truth. Tolands exhile was for the "greater good" of the vanguard warriors, his methods were to extreme. His assumptions and warnings were true many guardians lost there lives because of the vanguard blindly denying Tolands accusations. I made this guild hoping fellow guardians believe that Toland is still alive and will continue to search for the answer he has been searching for.
