7 years ago today.
It is my seventh bungieversary today and I just wanted to make a little thread about how I feel. I am officially blue again which means I have something to show my mythic status besides my emblem /sarcasm. Well, this really is the only thing that is mythic these days. 8 and 9 years are ugly green just like 6. As for all you 10+ years? Hah, I have nothing to say but you are old.
When I first joined here, I was honestly confused as -blam!- and such a noob. I was MOSTLY active during Halo Reach and beyond. This place has CHANGED. I really hate how the community is these days. There is absolutely no sign of banning on offtopic, people post disturbing pictures like mad, etc. Where is all the good moderation that made this place likeable? Are you seriously telling me after all these years that you still cannot ban alts? I know that might be hard to do because of proxies but whatever.
I honestly miss the Dark theme and the old forum layout. I feel like these nameplates with numbers on them do not represent what we really are, and they certainly only give us an idea of our legacy and not much else. Many people have gone and there are only a few cool people still around.
Offtopic/flood is now this in a nutshell: Booty, AMA, be me>, What the -blam!- did you just say about me you bitch? In addition, creepy people creeping on picture threads.
#Destiny? Oh god, do not even get me started. This place has more 12-year-old kids than the flood back in the day and currently! Some people are just selfish and complain about everything. IT is WORSE than the armour lock days. I honestly feel bad for Bungie these days and I honestly do not even know why I stay. I just hang out when I am bored. Bungie have brought so many retards to their new game and the halo community certainly was not this bad.
I am not totally against the new iteration of Bungie.net, but I must say that it is hard to keep precious brain cells on here.
Ban all the losers please, Bungie, for the love of everything holy.

4 RepliesWe got people bragging about how long they have played bungie games? You guys are ridiculous lmao literally laughing my ass off. And it's just the day of age we live in about the younger kids. Young kids are picking up a controller way before we were able to. It's just blam in their face. So of course we are going to have more youngsters playing alongside the mature crowd. it's usually their inability or shyness to talk into a mic that bothers me or they talk way too much. But really everything in this game can be explained to a 10 year old so why not let them play.

People have been complaining since day one and yet they haven't done a thing.. I don't even think we got an explanation as to why it was removed. Plus yeah, off topic is a complete mess. I still can't believe that Bungie thought muting people and playing ignorant was a good system to replace real moderation. Congrats on the 7 years though. And nice tags ;D
