I think some were bugged and you could collect more than once. Not sure if that screwed up the counter.

I know that the one above the TVs in Tharsis Junction would glitch out and you could collect it twice as well as the one at the Gate Keeper on Venus.

I think the legit count is 68 if you don't glitch into dlc areas or pick up any bugged duplicates.

Wait there's a ghost counter? How do you find this?

Go to your grimoire cards and find the one that just says ghost on it. It will tell you exactly how many you have. The ghost tracker site is great if you want to complete all of the dead ghosts in the game, but it won't tell you where the ones in the future DLC areas are.

Yep, that's it. I have 73 too. There aren't more to find. But collecting a few two times doesn't help in any way because they give no grimoire points though.
