I don't disagree with anything you said. You are only focused on the RNG in this rant and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
The endless grind, lack of content, complete lack of innovation(or even blatantly stealing other, better MMO systems), patching exploits and ignoring game breaking bugs, complete lack of clan tools, etc, etc, etc are going to be the nail in the coffin for me if they don't get off their asses and improve this game.
They haven't delivered on what they claimed this game would be. And, the recent leaks appear to show that they knew exactly what the plan was.
I love Destiny. I hope they can right this ship. The coming months are delivering some stiff competition for my gaming time. Bungie, please listen to us. You are failing your fans.

I started out with the RNG but I stopped because all writing this did was continue to anger and frustrate me. And I don't feel I'm alone in this matter. It angers me to know that I have dedicated countless hours to play this game, when time permits, and get nothing for it. Maybe a duplicate of a crappy item you have received 100 times over. Then 3-4 months of grinding seems to be for nothing when the Christmas Kinder-guardians get the Exotic Weapons you've been busting your hump for by getting their butts handed to them in the crucible, or "anchoring" for a Nightfall Strike, or being carried through a raid. All bs. All of it. The content.. The freaking content is so mindlessly repetitive that I would rather play fetch with a blind dog. Tuesday refresh comes. Beat the strikes, finish the raids, get shat on. And you're pretty much done for the week. Unless you like waiting for another serving of disappointment from the world's worst black market dealer on the weekends. The strikes need better, thought out objectives. The raids need to be longer, challenging. And obviously more rewarding. The planets need to be expanded. They are planets for goodness sake. The weapons, armor and items should be more plentiful and customizable. This is essentially an MMORPG, so I would rather look like 1 in 1 million people rather than 1 in 10. I could dig deeper and go on, but as I said, it's just frustrating how badly this game has "developed" and it's only been 4 months! C'mon Bungie! What the hell man...
