I'd say it's a good mix of Demonic and Shadow's writing. Finding creative ways to inform people that they posted in the wrong subforum was common to bungie.net before the release of destiny, so that part was already ingrained. Then most of the forums were taken over by desticles posting in the wrong place, and most of them replied with hostility to all attempts at correction (namely the now infamous excuse "but this is the Destiny app"). Combined with their dispute of beliefs (whether or not the game is perfect besides possibly needing some stuff nerfed) this essentially turns into two unrelenting forces colliding head on. The Floodians saw their old ways essentially being threatened by a cult, the desticles saw the forums as their big old playground.
