why is the flood so hostile towards desticles?
Ok I understand that they are posting destiny stuff in the wrong forum and that should be corrected, but from what I have seen if you post anything remotely related to destiny you get tons of hate for it,and that's kinda've uncalled for ,so I was just wondering why you are be so hostile towards them.

I'd say it's a good mix of Demonic and Shadow's writing. Finding creative ways to inform people that they posted in the wrong subforum was common to bungie.net before the release of destiny, so that part was already ingrained. Then most of the forums were taken over by desticles posting in the wrong place, and most of them replied with hostility to all attempts at correction (namely the now infamous excuse "but this is the Destiny app"). Combined with their dispute of beliefs (whether or not the game is perfect besides possibly needing some stuff nerfed) this essentially turns into two unrelenting forces colliding head on. The Floodians saw their old ways essentially being threatened by a cult, the desticles saw the forums as their big old playground.

We tried to be nice but that all changed when desticles assaulted fort gaming and many others , now we are fighting back But in all seriousness, I'm ok with people who like destiny and like to speak about it. But I hate the destiny fans or desticles who defend the game when we say there's a problem with the story ect. Then the same people go full stupid and say us to get out of off topic and gaming because its the "destiny forums". It's like they thought they were here first and nothing ever existed before. One time I had this guy who told us that off topic was for off topic stuff about destiny, we even tried explaining that anything and everything to do with destiny goes in the destiny forums. His ignorance and stupidity led to a argument. Any way that's all I have to say, and sorry for the semi-long read.

1 ReplyWhen Destiny was released, every sub-forum kinda became a destiny VOG-recruitment-forum and it took like 2 months till #Gaming was about Gaming again...

3 Replies1) It's annoying. 2) A good majority of us don't like Destiny. 3) In the past this stuff wouldn't have been tolerated. Although I try my best not to scold them.
