There just needs to be MORE.

So, after many debates, points, and some negativity there seems to be a general consensus. Destiny just needs more, that's all. More in what context you ask? Well, everything. It needs more bounties, that are more thought out, more tiered, and more interesting. Quests were promised in the expansion, but if you are like me, the Eris quests were over in an hour. The bounties could be like these, but simpler. T2 Bounties, which requires more thought, and more connecting elements to perform. There are a great many areas where one can connect these elements. Examples include the Exotic bounties. If quite rare rewards were to drop from similar bounties like radiant mats, people would do them consistently. More side quests. I know many people compare this to Skyrim, but I have to say that Skyrim just owns when it comes to story telling and immersion. It is a game that I would love to sit down and complete entirely one day, but it takes sooooo long. The dungeons on this are part of the reason, and they are quite simple to complete, but there are so many of them. Destiny would benefit from this sort of system immensely. If all of the caves in the game had their own wee quest, it would add days to the play time. All they need have are bosses similar to the Target patrol missions at the end of them, with a chance of a legendary engram drop, and very slight chance of an exotic drop and people would do them consistently. More Strikes. I am on Xbox, but from what people are saying about the PSN exclusive strike for the dark below, its not that creative. Essentially, it was put together with existing elements, re-skinned to a degree, and buffed. Do this 20 times in different scenarios and you have yourself huge content. Use the lore. Good god, there is lots of source material in the grimore. USE IT. The dungeons above could be the scenes of these actually manifesting. 6 man explore fireteams. This should have been in from day one. you can do 6 in a strike, why not in explore? The tower. So you have fireteam chat for strikes now, well what about the tower? And on that, you have to invite people to your fireteam to be in the same tower, why not have the option of inviting to your tower, and/or fireteam? Clans should be able to have their own tower, where the members can choose to automatically go to the clans' tower. It is based on local right now, and that is quite boring to me. Secret areas. People are glitching into locked areas, but what about areas that are perhaps out of the way, and difficult to get to, but would be great to explore? There are so many places where you can get over a wall, or up part of a hill, but you cant get further cause you get an out of bounds penalty and die? What's that all about? Further on making secret zones difficult to access. There doesn't need to be any clue what so ever on how to access these zones. There are people out there trying everything under the sun to access areas. Someone will figure it out and the internet will do the rest. An example of this is one quest line from Oblivion. You had to collect a certain amount of books and use the first letter from each chapter (or something, I can remember entirely) to find the entrance to a cave that was only accessible at certain times of the day. I was blown away when I figured that out. It is still one of the best aspects of a quest I have done. Use what you have. There are sparrows in the game, make a racing aspect. Its not that difficult and there are great areas already. Make some half pipes and have the tumbler competitions in as well; use the sparrow in a raid also. I read somewhere that in crotas end we would be trying to get away from a huge ogre on our sparrows. This was a great idea, but nothing even slightly dynamic like that came about. Leave areas that have been explored through strikes and missions open. I would like to be able to go back to the Jovian complex or phoegoth's chamber, just for exploration purposes. Why have them closed after you have done them? Populate them with spawning enemies and let people go there. These a just a few ideas that wouldn't be that difficult to implement, and would add so very much to the complexity and dynamics of the game. Just give people more is what it comes down to. TL;DR: Just give people more of everything.

  • I can agree completely. My main peeve for instance is the lack of a local proximity chat. You'd think the tower would at least have some method of communication... but it doesn't. I just end up sitting down and watching people do their own things in their own groups... While there's no shortage of players to come across, I've never felt more alone...
