Continuum TV Series - Short of greatness

I cant quite pin it down, but I've been marathoning my way through the Continuum TV Series, and there is some really good stuff there... but its just not quite right. Plus ,they got approval for season 4 but only to wrap up the series in 6 episodes. Other thoughts...
