Idea: 6-player Strikes

*Background* a friend and I were talking about the possibility of how Strikes using a 6-player "Raid-sized" Fireteam might work, and I came up with some ideas that I think would prove for some fun and exciting additional Strikes, allowing a team to "practice" coordination and communication for Raiding. The Fireteam would begin each Strike split, at random. Sepiks Prime's Revenge (Level 28) - Alpha Team lands in the Divide, and fights their way through to the Refinery (Darkness Zone begins in the Rocketyards). Bravo Team lands in the Forgotten Shores, and fights their way through to the Refinery (Darkness Zone begins in the Grottos). Once the teams join together, the middle portion of this Strike would play the same as The Devil's Lair Strike, but all enemies are Majors or Ultras. The Devil Walker would have extra shielding on its legs, and Sepiks Prime would be buffed overall to compensate for 6 players instead of 3. Phogoth's Rampage (Level 29) - Alpha Team lands at the current starting point of the Summoning Pits Strike. Bravo Team lands at the entrance to the Temple of Crota. The teams fight their way through to the boss area of the Summoning Pits Strike, but there is a significant increase in Hive activity. Once at the boss area of the Summoning Pits Strike, there are 2 giant Ogre Ultras. This boss fight would be played similar to Summoning Pits, just with more, and more powerful, enemies. Escape From Venus (Level 30) - Alpha Team has been captured by Aksor, Archon Priest. Bravo Team has been captured by Sekrion, Nexus Mind. After defeating the respective bosses, the teams must fight their way out to the Ishtar Cliffs. Once there, they are surrounded by armies of Fallen and Vex. The Fallen call in a Devil Walker, and the Vex warp in 2 Cyclops. The team would have to survive a set amount of time, while defeating the Devil Walker, and the 2 Cyclops. Once time expires, the Vanguard Mentors arrive and make a bombing run on the battlefield, clearing the way for the team to get off-planet. If the Devil Walker and 2 Cyclops are not destroyed before the time limit, the Vanguard Mentors get shot out of the sky, and the party wipes. Change of Cabal Command (Level 31) - After the defeat of Valus Ta'aurc, the remaining members of the Cabal Command have come out of hiding. One is a giant Legionary, one is a giant Phalanx, one is a giant Centurion, one is a giant Psion, and the last one is in a buffed Goliath Tank (more guns, more armor, more speed). Alpha Team will take out the Legionary and Centurion Commanders, while Bravo Team takes out the Phalanx and Psion Commanders, before joining together to take on the Goliath Tank. The Playlist for these Strikes could be set as Level 32, with rewards being Vanguard Gear, Cryptarch Engram, 12 Vanguard Marks, 50 Vanguard Reputation, and 1 Material (Strange Coin[30%], Mote of Light[30%], Ascendant[19%], Radiant[19%], Exotic[2%])

 • They are called raids
you're welcome
Jokes aside a raid playlist setup like a strike one would be cool. 6 enter, must complete the raid in its entirety, or else no reward is given. Option to boot inactive members or members that are grossly underperforming. Player must be idle for a period of 5 or more minutes before being bootable by the squad. Also perhaps if a player dies more then 10 times they become bootable as well. (Majority vote wins) of course. Don't want to be carrying trolls or scrubs through raids now do we :P playlists raids are only awarded at the end of the entire mission not per checkpoint. This mode will be targeted towards players who finish all their normal raids early in the week and are looking to do additional speed runs through for added benefits. Oh and please for the love of all things holy. Make enemies in raids drop glimmer and experience. How does it make any sense to be getting higher level hear yet having to go to lesser missions to level it!?!? How cool would it be if there was special hard raid sets that allowed you to progress even higher in level!? But the condition that it only gained experience through consistent and persistent raiding? All other game modes and bounties included had no effect on this elite level gear. Only by completing checkpoints in the hard raids would earn you points or experience needed to obtain this level of epic ness. Bungie my ideas are free for you to take and use. No charge. You're welcome
