Crota fight: left side or middle room?

Have beaten him 3x from left and worked wonders for my team. We tried the middle but we just felt constricted down there and never got in a good rhythm like we did from the left. Question to you who prefer middle: how do you take down boomers? Who's your sword bearer? And what suggestions can you offer to beat him from down there? (We'll stick to left, but just curious as to how the middle is done as well. Thanks)

I wouldn't mind being on left side, but often we get players who have no idea how to handle some enemies as they sit fixated on Crota entire time and not realize that Crota only requires to be looked at when downing for sword runner to attack, but anytime that isn't happening, focus on the -blam!-ing enemies around you so you stop dying. Tired of players sitting there saying "he's x amount of health down, let's go guys" while I'm just sitting there attacking an army alone. Preferably, we have 4 middle, 1 sniper on right side as I find it much safer than left side due to a higher rock platform to hop on ledge and have full view of Crota and his health with the sword and he never attacks you. Then ofcourse, 6th player is the sword runner, usually myself, killing swordbearer with gjallarhorn as I have no need for it on Crota since I'm running, so I just down Swordbearer in 2-3 shots while team is in their safety hole.
