I have 3 different Raid Teams and most of us run it primarily from the left (bottom mid for Ogres of course). We ran center to try and get that down so we have an alt strategy (in case you need it for HM) and we would either burn Crota too quick or all (3) sword bearers would chump the jump to Crota and miss a round of strikes. What works best for us is an Icebreaker dedicated to the Boomer Knights, burn Crota with specials the first knee and then switch to heavy rockets for the next round. I think G-horn works okay, but we have 3-4 guys with maxed out Hunger of Crota Rocket Launchers, we wreck him every time (HoC is also awesome for the first stage mobs, Shriekers, Wizards, Knights and Ogres in the following sections). What sucks about pick up groups for CE is the unknown of their weapons. If they can't burn Crota or the occasional Over Soul then the Sword Bearer is always screwed (because it's all about the timing). Lastly more people need to step up and learn how to be sword bearers. This is the equivalent to using the relic in VoG, being efficient in multiple roles will make you and your team more likely to succeed using different strategies (like center).
