I just did the Fist of Crota 12 times -- Normal and Hard levels --- NOTHING
I just did Earth Patrol 6x in Steppes killing Crota -- NOTHING
I just did Earth Partol 8x in Mothyards killing Crota -- NOTHING

The fist if crota is the fastest. Unfortunately it can take between a few minutes to an hour trying to get it. I've even heard 3 hours of farming Fist of Crota happened to a guy before he got one. I got mine after 40ish minutes. I had nothing to do that day.

I have been at it off and on 2+ weeks and yet to get one my friends have all gotten one or even multiples and some who I told how to get it and they didn't even know about the husk of the pit got one soon after I feel like bungie just torments me with the worst RNG imaginable :/ I don't even get BWI very often or codex..

Dismantled 6 by the time people tell me that it's rare :| I just kept hunting down blade of Crota on the Cosmodrone. Good luck dude.
