There's too many players that have cheated crota, and there's no guaranteed way to be like oh you cheesed crota, anyone can just argue there Xbox turned off or internet cut out or that Xbox live -blam!-ed up again...that ones very believable (same.for PS) and if they had one there would be too many players to ban and its not worth losing them

Some of those people would come back after a period of banning. A huge chunk though would move on to another game and never come back (and consequently never by the next DLC).

2 Repliesyou do understand that, -Modification or interruption of Destiny network traffic with intent to disrupt other players’ experiences or to gain advantage in the game is something akin to a lag switch or maybe forcing yourself to lag to gain an advantage while on the other hand this is a game flaw in which logging out or lagging out while corta is down cause's him to stay down. This is an easy fix they just need to have the game continue when packets are lost or dropped like EVERY OTHER GAME, THEREFORE IT DOSE NOT FALL UNDER THIS Category -Sincerely someone with 3 years of Cisco under their belt

1 ReplyWhy do people care? Because someone else cheated, it is affecting you? I understand if they are doing it in PVP for an advantage but honestly who cares. Bungie just needs to patch their game to prevent these exploits. Banning people because they had some outside the box thinking is just wrong. If anything the people who find these cheats should be given a job at Bungie to help them prevent these for future raids.

Besides slowing down gear progression so they can stretch content out longer until house of wolves, the other reason normal mode was released before hard mode was Bungie could basically use the player base to find all the ways to cheese for them, and as a result have them fixed by hard mode. Nobody's going to get banned, your foolish if you think so, but it'll get fixed before hard mode and those who didn't learn these encounters on normal will be in trouble (or just not run the raid).
