I got Gallows Cure, which is a new rare scout rifle. It fires faster than any non-auto scout rifle I've used, and packs a decent punch. I gave it to my alt-warlock who is 28, and haven't looked back. It lets me pump up a weapon to close to the old legendary 300 damage level [u]without[/u] using ascendant materials to upgrade it. That allows me to focus more on my legendaries/exotics for my main hunter. I guess if you have alts who can use them, they prevent a lot of issues that come up when you have 3 characters at raid level, all needing ascendant stuff to pump up their weapons. So, try one out before you break it down. I don't know if I'd raid with one, but strikes/patrols are okay.
