I am a strong protanopian for those who don't know that means that some colors blend together and I cannot see, for me using the red sights on the planet Venus is near impossible because of my colorblindness, mine is red green so I propose that they add in an option to color sites so that those of us who have f.u.b.a.r eyes (and i mean that literally, you cant fix colorblindness) can actually see where we are aiming and who we are shooting at.
If you think this is a good idea
and you should custom colored sights would be awesome
then post a comment.
Edit: thanks to everyone who supports this idea. I had no clue how many people were colorblind as well. Fight on my disadvantaged brethren!
Edit: Dear Lord this post is in the "highest rated" im so happy to see people supporting this idea! :D
Edit: GUARDIANS ! The weekly update states that they will add some visual tools to Destiny. Cross your fingers for colorblind assist!
Edit: WE WON (idk about us specificly) but they are adding in colorblind. Finally we all can see what the hell we're shooting at.

I support you... One of the guys in my fire team is slightly colorblind and he has a problem on some planets plus he puts on shaders and constantly asks what colors they are lol. Fun stuff though when he asks what weapon modifiers are for nightfall and we have to tell his.. Ninja star sun and swirl to correspond to void solar arc damage lmao
-
I'm not colorblind, but I support this idea for those who are, and it would be cool.
-
Honest question: Does your television or monitor have the ability to modify the picture to the point where you can differentiate the weapon sights from the background? You should be able to modify your monitor's settings to assist in your viewing needs. Hopefully this is a simple solution for you, best of luck.

I could use this as well. Bump
-
I have this problem too

I had never even thought of this issue but you would assume all wanna be AAA games would have an option to help gamers in your situation. It really wouldn't be hard for them to do either, honestly I don't think these forums are read that often you should email bungie support to receive confirmation that they received your idea.

I'm not color blind but I can see how this can bother you no pun intended but yeah I't sounds cool and I would like to have more blue sights.
-
I can literally see no reason not to support it. It would make the game more accessible, while still adding a fun customization update to everybody else. Win win.
-
I agree, like resident evil where you had about six color options
-
This is a must - even COD has color blind settings
-
That's actually a very great idea and I'm hoping they put that in. It doesn't seem fair for people like you to not be able to aim and I imagine that must be hard. The option to change sights colors would not only be helpful but also pretty cool
-
Although I'm not colourblind I'm supporting this! It should certainly be in the game.
-
I already posted on here but I'm posting again because I want to help support this, let's get more replies and likes on this so it can get noticed, I'm sure everyone has enough of a heart to support this.
-
Generally... changeable sights would be great. Especially on exotics....
-
I support this and I'm not even colour blind
-
As someone that is blue yellow colorblind I fully support this. Please for the love of all things holy, can we get this added. The couple of additions that were added that made the cooldown meters more visible helped a lot. Also, reducing the transparency of the motion sensor would be a great boon as well.

I Fully support this.

Support - needs to be added.

Yup, red green here. Sites and radar are nonexistent in many cases. Super important in pvp too. If I have to take 2 seconds to really look and see, then I am at a big disadvantage. Bump!
