well no, two bullets that are headshots, and the DoT is what kills. Between damage out puts yes Thorn can beat out actually any gun in the game other than a super lucky double luck bullet from Hawkmoon. We are talking Exotics vs Legendaries after all. But its all down to the accuracy of the user. Not all are able to hit those headshots constantly with a hand cannon. ALso then you also must account for the extreme accuracy negatives when taking incoming fire. And the high rate of fire from the Galahad family of auto rifles excel at this and are almost designed for that, which is why their impact is so low. They would be beyond broken if they had the quote "real auto rifle" impact people complain they should have. No one gun though is better than any other. Each gun has a strength and weakness. Right now Hand Cannons are only beaten but shotguns or fusion rifles, but auto rifles are also a contender as they can destroy your accuracy if you dont have the perks to compensate for incoming fire. This weapon is obviously not the best, but rewards greatly those who can tame it. I like to compare it to Hard Light. Worst of the Exotic auto rifles, but highly rewarding if mastered.
