I put a lot of time and effort into Asteroids as well. Where was the story in that?
If you want a story, go play something else. If you just want to shoot things, then play this.

If all you want to do is complain, then do it somewhere else, or just stop playing. Accept it and play with what you have got, or move on to something else. But a non-existent story presentation is not going to magically appear.

And like I said at the beginning of the post, story may not be important to everyone, but it is to me. Especially since so much time goes into building your character, customising him, exploring the different worlds around you, delving into their history. To me, a game with a story will always be better than one without. Im not complaining. I posted on this forum because this is the feedback I had. Bungie can make improvements to the world of destiny - so I dont see why people shouldnt post their thoughts. And actually, sometimes complaints do help! :)

But you are dreaming. What you are asking for is a complete retooling of the game, scrapping the existing programs already on disc and starting over; that ain't gonna happen. Just accept it and move on. Use your imagination if it is so important to you. People nowadays don't seem to know what that word means anymore.

This game gets updated constantly, there is still a chance for them to set the story straight

What you are asking for is a complete new set of graphics files and voice overs, which is not included on the discs. For free.

That's Destiny 2, which will cost another $60 plus expansions. I'm talking about the current game, which will/cannot be changed.

You keep missing the point. The point is that this game is not going to add to the story. The next game MAY do it differently, but I wouldn't count on it. And yes, I am done with this game after the next DLC that I already paid for. It just isn't different enough to be worth it.

We're looking at this from different points, thats why you dont really follow what I say. But thats cool as Im willing to stick with the destiny universe in the hope that Ill see amore coherent story in the future. If youre not satisfied with the game, then play what does bring you enjoyment. Games are meant to be fun after all
