The Cryptarch is the only thing in the game that they shouldn't do that with, there are some Lvl 28 at rank 50 and others at rank 5. Do you think that a rank 5 (that hasn't done very much decoding) should have the same chance as a rank 50 (who has spent almost all of his time decoding) does that sound fair?

I just came from rank 5, and im lvl 28 so ya at least one legendary engram that became a mote of light would b better than three rare engrams that were crap armor and led to more wasted currency, as for the lvl 28 guardians that are rank 50, its beyond me how theyve gotten to that rank and not hit lvl 30+...also they have most likely seen legendary engrams or exotics, when the only way i have an exotic is from xur.

But what have you done to level up the Cryptarch? Nothing. What have they done to level up the Cryptarch? A lot. Now if you were a Crucible rank 5 and and cryptarch rank 6 and they were a Crucible rank 2 and a Cryptarch rank 20 I would make since that you would get better rewards for ranking up Crucible but not as good rewards for ranking up Cryptarch. The game doesn't give you better rewards bases on you character Lvl its on that specific lvl. If you don't do anything to rank up your Cryptarch then why should you get rewarded from him. I didn't rank up my Vanguard so I don't get rewards from vanguard. You have to put on effort to revive rewards, and my friend being a level 28 that just got to rank 6 is not putting in any effort. I know first hand, I'm a brand knew Lvl 29 and I never bring for engrams or actually try to get a higher rank I just decode an engram when I get one. So because I don't try I'm only a rank 7

Edited by curtissweet: 12/22/2014 7:24:22 AMSee this is the real kicker, at lvl 28 ive only barely reached rank 3 crucible, rank 1 vanguard, and rank 6 cryptarch and have had to buy nearly all my legendary armor from crucible vendor, besides the helm i bought from xur, i have had a legendary engram drop once from crucible and earned another when i hit rank 3 but havent seen one from cryptarch at rank 6. Its just too disproportionate. Guess im just a crap player on destiny standards.

Edited by curtissweet: 12/22/2014 7:33:02 AMI do about 4-5 on van and cru per cycle, i have about 140 total hr but i also have a lvl8 war and lvl5 hunt, and have gone thru camp with others, havent hit vog yet....and no dlc....ive nearly given up when they added commendations cuz i had barely reached rank 2 cruc, which meant i had to wait to rank again

So I'm not going to sit here and listen to how your unlucky, and then type on how unlucky I am, because both seem to be unlucky players. But we both need to stand strong and just hope that at the end of that one Crucible match or at the end of that one strike that a lucky exotic drops. Its one of the things that keeps me going. Also I lie to find my favorite thing in the game and play it most of the time. My favorite thing in the game is to play the crucible so that's what I focus on in the game, its how I get my weapons, how I level up, and how I have fun. Find some thing like that for you and the game will become a LOT more fun! :)
