It remains to be seen if Xûr will offer an exchange for the VM, but if not, I believe it should be given a buff to keep it ahead of the "regular" exotics.

Xür will not offer it. The agent of the nine can only offer an upgrade for a weapon which he can sell or any store in the tower sells. He does not and can not offer an upgrade to the Vex. Bungie upgraded the Vex automatically through the patch with the new DLC to keep it a close to the statistical damage as the other Exotic primaries while still realizing that gun is still the most powerful in PVP even at a max output of 320. I want the gun but due to the randomizer it could take years for me to get it. I've done VOG Hardmode many times and got shards.

Why do people always feel the need to lie about their raid completions. Your only character capable of completing it has done it 4 times and I'd be surprised if any of those times was on hard.

Completing a Hard Raid is not a lifetime accomplishment. My gamerscore is over 106000. There are harder games than Destiny out there. I've beaten them. Check my gamerscore.

That's not entirely true. He offers exchange for weapons that are only obtainable via Exotic bounties. However, I tend to agree that it's unlikely that he will exchange the VM, but I don't think it's been proven conclusively either way yet, unless you have a definitive source? :) I was very fortunate to receive my VM on my second hard clearance. I hope you get yours soon.

Thanks I hope I get it soon too. If your on Xbox One, send me a friend request, I'm always looking to have friends to run the Hardmode with. The source was an article in an exclusive with Bungie in Game Informer in between months. The article was only to digital subscribers. They allowed Game Informer to play the DLC a month or so before we got it and they stated all the stats and upgrades to the exotics. They stated how the Vex would be upgraded going forward on each level cap raise.

That last bit is certainly welcome. The Vex is just too good to get left behind. On PS4, sorry. :(

That's because that gun was an exclusive to PS4 people until a few more months go by and Xbox One users can get it. Also because PS4 paid millions to get exclusive gear. The Vex will not be... per Bungie.
