What's the point of Vault of Glass now?
This is a serious question. Outside of the Vex Mythoclast, I can't see a reason to waste time in there. Ascendant materials are not that much useful anymore, raid armour and weapons are outclassed by vanguard & faction gear, I fail to see a very good reason to do it. Maybe just for fun but then it's a chore to find 5 other players who want to go for it just for fun when they could be doing other things.

Fatebringer. It is better than the vex in my opinion. I use my FB much more often. Even though it only has 300 attack, it still destroys level 32 enemies in crotas raid. Unreal gun. I'd be happy to run VOG over and over just to get one for each of my characters.

I've leveled up two of the new faction scouts, and one of the new assault rifles and I still find VoC to be vastly better than all three even with the 331 damage (which makes no difference on enemies lower than level 30 really.) Not to mention until CE's hard mode arrives and we get new raid primaries VoC, Timepiece, Fatebringer, and Atheon's Ep are the best weapons for nightfall depending on the burn mod. Lastly Praedeth's Revenge is incredibly good in PvP...

Ascendant materials; VoC; Fatebringer; Vex Also just for the funs of it. Video games are meant to be enjoyed. Whether that means min/maxing everything you do within them is a matter of opinion.

Um, you know ascendent material is needed to upgrade that new vanguard/ faction gear right?
