I would only agree if there was a sure fire way to get the exotic you want. When I am yet to see an ice breaker or Jellyhorn drop for me, I hold out hope for Xur. If a raid or nightfall guaranteed a chance each time to drop specific exotics rather than leaving it up to RNGesus, than maybe I could see your point, but I would politely disagree and want Xur to remain.

I don't see how this differs from the current system. It's the same basic idea. Each week you get a roll on exotic items.

Well yea but I mean instead of Xur have the exotic be the nightfall reward to encourage people to do it if they didn't. It would be the only way I'd consider (but still wouldn't want) the removal of Xur.
