LET US UPGRADE THE MYTHOCLAST TO 331
Destiny allow us to upgrade the mythoclast to 331, the same as all other exotics. This gun took many hours to receive we should at least be allowed to upgrade it to the same attack damage as the rest of the weapons post dlc.

8 points of damage? The vex is already decent I don't see how that would make it much better.

No way I'm re-leveling a mythoclast for a 3% damage buff.

You don't know that you can't. It was brought to 323 pre doc release. Who knows xur might have it for upgrade to 354 who knows.

2 RepliesI think this should be true for all VoG gear, or I would at least like to be able to re-acquire the gear at a higher level, even if it would only be lvl 31 equivalent. VoG gear should be o par with everything in the tower at the very least. Destiny did not have a long enough stretch of time between people getting the best from VoG before The Dark Below expansion released... I was only level 30 for maybe a couple of weeks from finally getting the gear i needed through RNG only to have it become replaced by regular, uninteresting, purchased tower gear... I worked really hard to get weapons like vision of confluence and the mythoclast and it doesn't look like those unique weapons will ever get a buff. I realize I'm already off topic from just the Mythoclast... which of course should be higher than 331 at this point to stay relevant. But can you imagine the variety of gear and different looks we could choose from just by allowing us to upgrade our existing legendary armor and weapons? Many guardians could truly be unique, but instead all I see now is tower gear/crota gear. Everyone looks pretty much the same with an exotic here and there... Shaders don't really bring that much to the party in making our guardians unique... endrant.

5 RepliesBump it's an exotic and should be powerful I say skip past 331 and put it on par with the necro so you have two very powerful raid weapons that will never be surpassed

They should just add a special item that drops from VoG bosses and can be used to re-roll your VoG weapon to 331 but the only way it can be re-rolled is to have it at 300. Something like the runed core or something

8 RepliesI'd say leave it as is. Its already a strong weapon, and its also a weapon of the past, like Fatebringer and Confluence, they shouldnt be upgraded. But thats just me.

5 RepliesThis post and the others like it are reaching. It's a trophy weapon for old content. And a raid weapon at that. This exotic should stay at it's current max damage, and not increase. This deflates the value of current content raid weapons. And the hard mode crota weapon. Get over it, just like other games with the same structure. It is still viable for what ever aspect you play in destiny. It's not like it's utterly useless. It still says"hey I'm one of a select group who have it, and completed hm vog". Sui stop getting so bent over something trivial.

Their should be a way to go to the gunsmith and upgrade them to scale with new vendor weapons at least. Our old raid weapons should definitely be upgradable. Raid weapons should always be more important and powerful than vendor guns. The way it is right now vendor guns has more damage than old awesome raid weapons and that is just wrong. Heres my idea. The gunsmith is useless past level 10 anyways for the most part. Why not give Xur a break and let the gunsmith upgrade our guns. Make it where all you do is take correct currency and exotic shard to him and upgrade any weapon. Him having to have it in his inventory is dumb. Also let the gunsmith sell you the exotic shard so u don't have to wait on Xur. Having to wait till Friday to upgrade an exotic is dumb. Just an idea. I would like to see a fair trade act in the tower. Like a new vendor to where you can bring like 5 exotics to trade in for 1 exotic that you need etc. This way the trading wouldnt break the game. You might could also add glimmer to the trade to make it even more interesting. Make the mark high though like 10,000 glimmer and 5 exotics or raid weapons to trade for the one you want etc. I have beaten vog 3x per week since it came out and still don't have a fatebringer or atheons epilogue. OR simply implement something where you are guaranteed a different drop every time till you get everything. The randomness of this game is crazy.
