Sometimes. I switched to Sweedish Snus awhile back. Think about it. Fact check me if you want.
Average can of American Moist Snuff has around 8MG of Nicotine. The kind I use(Thunder) has 18MG of Nicotine. You can get it in pouches or loose. I do loose. It tastes very good, and not like chemicals. It's also virtually harmless. Especially compared to smoking. In case you didn't know. American tobacco isn't a huge contributed to mouth cancer anyways. In fact, you are more likely to get mouth cancer from smoking, than using Moist Snuff. Though of course, lung cancer is the most common from smoking.
So basically, I use it because it's safer, stronger, tastes better, and isn't as messy. You don't really have to spit. Unless you want too. And it's not super tiny grains. Look it up. And try it. At least a one tin.

Virtually harmless compared to other things. Look it up. The research has been done. A huge percentage of Sweden uses it. There's hardly any cancer there though. It's just unlikely in general to get cancer from smokeless tobacco. Smoking is much worse. Just the fact that you're inhaling smoke makes it worse. You could set a log on fire and inhale that. That alone is more carcinogens then you can think of. 43,250 people were diagnosed with Oral Cancer this year. When you consider on average, about 8000 people die from it every year... Then cut it down to cases where the cancer was caused by Smokeless Tobacco, it's a pretty low number. Like I said. Virtually Harmless. Not impossible. Highly unlikely though. And that's American tobacco. Some people have said it's nearly impossible for Swedish Snus to cause cancer. They pasteurize it, so lots of the carcinogens are removed.
