The Constitution was written almost 230 years ago. The laws within it were relevant for the time, but humans evolve and so should their laws. Much of the Constitution still holds validity in modern times, but this idea that it's unchangeable and that you're not a patriot for disagreeing with it is ridiculous.

You didn't; I was addressing the thread in general, not you necessarily. There is a very common thought in this country that the Constitution is this holy relic and changing it is "against Jesus" and it's absurd.
