Why do open new games then re wrap them and sell them at full price? And could u stop doing that please? I like my new game to be in new plastic wrap not your gamestop wrap

We do that in order to have cases to put on the walls without being a stock liability. If you want to guarantee yourself a copy of a new game cellophane-fresh, preorder it. Then pick it up within 48 hours of release.

GameStop rents new games out to employees then resells as new.

As an employee of gamestop, I can guarantee you that's against policy. We are allowed to rent one USED game. Then when it's returned, it's sold as used again. New games are off limits, and is a fireable offense. If it's for a game that hasn't been released yet, then the associate gets fired, his store manager gets fired, and HIS district manager gets fired If one store is doing it, that's the fault of that store's manager. It is not, however, allowed in store policy. Maybe check facts before spouting your conspiracy theories?

I'm not trying to fight with you, but my sister has worked at GameStop and I've watched them open a new copy say don't use codes or your fired have a good day....
-
Again, one store doing it is the result of the store manager (or even an SGA) not caring about rules. If they were to be caught doing that, they both would probably be fired. The "don't use any codes or you're fired" is a telling sign, a scare tactic used to keep the employee frightened to talk about the experience.

'Rents' is completely inaccurate... I don't pay anything to check them out ;)
