Black Hammer is > Ice Breaker for this boss by a long shot. If you miss those head shots on the knights or ogres then you likely shouldn't be sniping anyways.

You can use Hawkmoon/Fatebringer, Black Hammer, and Gjallarhorn/Hezen's Vengance/Hunger Of Crota

1 ice breaker can take care of the boomers... never runs out of ammo and he can help on crota if needed. I don't see how black hammer can outperform icebreaker in this situation, but it can definitely match icebreaker IF you land head shots on every shot.

Can't use ice breaker and gally at the same time can ya, land those shots and your laughing dps.

The sniper is better off with ice breaker and another homing launcher Imo. You can't land head shots 100% of the time... one missed shot and your team is getting boomed in the heads while you reload. Besides the sniper is suppose to have his full attention on the boomers. The only upside to the black hammer is on the ogres, where it can really shine but honestly they shouldn't live long anyways. Not saying black hammer isn't one of the coolest sniper rifles. Just saying if you are snipe duty, icebreaker please.

K I don't use icebreaker for the boss unless I run out if heavy, and I wouldn't use black hammer on the boss anyway cause I have 'the hunger of crota ' which is definitely legendary worthy. And yeah lol I don't even have to aim any more , cause I already know where abouts the head is going to come out
