Im so glad it took all these people just a few shots, just a few hours. This crap took me 3 days on and off of trying and just when I was going to give up Bunge finally decided to give it to me. I believe I put in about 6 to 7 hours all together time just grinding with this method and going to earth farming. I got it using this method. How:
1. I took his shield down with a fusion rifle
2. I shot him in the head with a hand cannon until his health was almost gone.
3. I threw my grenade in his chest and boom it just popped up on my screen.
4. Thank God.
5. Fellas don't give up the method works, but Bungie is some B. S.

And love the method btw - I have seen people do it this way, but never have done it myself. Have to try that. 50+ blades killed already...

Well, patrols or the method here is the way to go. Just don't forget to be doing Eris bounties during them - she is one sucker to level up!

This method works... took me 4 times to get the husk (would have been only 3 bust I messed up the grenade throw on the first one)

Haha. I was smirking and thought - hey why not try this? Took out his shield down to last health with gun and finished him off with a grenade. Done. 4th try.

OMG! I was beyond skeptical after reading this, but I just did exactly what you said and I got the gun on my second try. I tried it other ways killing Blades at least 80+ times, and nothing. Then I tried your method, BOOM Husk of the Pit. Thanks for posting this. I used: Warlock Normal mode Murmur arc Last Word Axion Bolt Good luck everyone.
