It depends. Sometimes unique graphics on a game will catch my eye, which will then lead me to look into a game more. I could care less about realistic graphics. I want more unique or even cartoony graphics like Borderlands or No Mans Sky has. They make me feel like I'm actually playing a game not some simulator. And yes realistic graphics are nice and everything, I'm just getting tired of games trying to look realistic. Also I find it funny that everyone says gameplay is everything and that graphics don't matter, but then there was a huge commotion when Watch_Dogs had downgraded graphics. That game was a lot of fun, and it wasn't even that bad looking, but people got all butthurt about a downgrade in graphics.
