Nothing you missed, those dudes just work for their gear. 3 toons same class equals 15 possible loot rolls a week in the new raid. This can be greatly increased by deleting one and restarting another after you've completed the raid on a character. So instead of 15 possible loot rolls you now have 20 and so on if you continue to do this. Those that are already 32 are the true "earners" in the game.
