Until another game can come out with better game play and coop, destiny will dominate my (and all my friends) consoles.
Play a game because you like it.
What did they review COD at? I played it for a few hours, laughed and went right back to destiny. Way better gameplay and coop. There is no comparison IMO.
I can see people who don't play with friends not liking this game.
You want story? Go read a book.
Gameplay is what keeps people coming back.
When people start looking at this game for what it is and not what they thought is was going to be it will become clear this is game of the year.

Seriously cod got a 9 and destiny a 7. Bought both and hated the f u c k out of cod and have loved every moment of destiny

You hit the nail on the head. Instead of obsessing with this review or that opinion, worry about what matters most. Do you enjoy playing the game? The answer for me is yes, so I will keep playing until that changes. Are there issues, yes, as there are with every other game in existence. When the time comes when the game is not enjoyable, just move on, I promise the earth will keep spinning.

When the best that can be said about Destiny is a comparison to Heroin, that's not much praise.

I will agree that i bought this game expecting a 40+ hour campaign to play bymyself and enjoy cut scenes... once i realized it was more of an mmo and needed friends to enjoy endgame, i added friends i met online and now i have a blast with doing raids and strikes. The game was not what i thought, but its still very fun and addictive to me
